RCH in the Albuquerque the Magazine
For Oscar Muniz of Renaissance Custom Homes, Inc. (RCH), building has been a part of his whole life. He has learned every step of building beautiful homes,
working with rastra, adobe and wood construction in Albuquerque and Santa Fe since he was 16. Oscar first realized the joy of not only building homes, but
designing them, when he built his own house from the ground up. “I literally built the entire home myself,” he says. “Eventually, Gary, who I’ve known for many
years, and I decided to work together, forming Renaissance Custom Homes, Inc.”
Padilla found his way into the homebuilding business while building his own residence. A full-time salesman, Gary manages the business side of RCH
and helps plan and perfect their designs, while brothers Oscar and Raul Muniz handle the building aspect. “I’m in the process every step of the way,” Gary says,
“but Oscar and Raul are the hands-on builders within RCH. We all get to share in the fulfillment of happy customers, which is very rewarding.”
RCH is committed to “Green Building Technology”. Eco-friendly homes are not only good for the environment, but they also save the homeowner
money in energy costs and huge tax incentives. Construction can be as simple or as elaborate as the customer wishes, which Oscar attributes to setting

Gary adds, “There is no better time than now to build a

they were a year ago. In turn, clients can build a home for
a better value.”
Oscar, Raul and Gary derive success from happy customers,
and work toward that in every home they build. Gary exclaims,
“When a homeowner loves their new home and has all their friends
over to show it off, that is really gratifying.”
